Marty Alberts was wearing a purple shirt. The murderer was wearing a red shirt, so Marty Alberts is not the murderer.
The suspect who was wearing a red shirt is 6 feet tall. The suspect who is 6 feet tall weighs 140 pounds. The suspect who weighs 140 pounds is not the one who has a wife named Jill. Therefore, one suspect is 6 feet tall, was wearing a red shirt, weighs 140 pounds, and is not the one who has a wife named Jill. But David Jones is 6 feet 2 inches tall, Jack Stevenson has a wife named Jill, John Smith weighs 200 pounds, and Marty Alberts was wearing a purple shirt. Therefore, the only suspect who could be this suspect is Bob Morrison. Since this suspect, Bob Morrison, was wearing a red shirt and the murderer was wearing a red shirt, he is the murderer.
